Characteristics
Single Snowdrops are among the first bulbs to bloom in spring, and can form impressive carpets of white in areas where they are native or have been naturalized. Once established they will last for a life time, they have beautiful crisp white flowers and emerald green stems and are best planted in the spring.
Instructions for planting
- Snowdrops are best planted in bundles of 25
- Plant 2-3" deep and 2-3" apart
- Plant in a well drained soil, will tolerate clay, sandy, loamy and peat type soils.
- Situate the snowdrops in a part shaded area
- Snowdrops are very easy to look after and need little upkeep, they will naturalise themselves if you ensure you follow the steps above.
