(All latches and catches are made from a cast - each one might be different from each other and will have small blemishes or pitting here and there, which makes them unique and give a great looking patina. The black stuff in the pictures is just polishing paste they are 85% cleaned off from the factory when we get them, but could use a little more wiping off. )
