BESCHREIBUNG

Sehr attraktive große Eisentruhe mit zwei passenden, intakten Hangschlössern. Deckel und Korpus mit genieteten Eisenbändern. Zwei tordierte Handhaben an den Seiten. Vorderseite mittig mit Blendschloss und zwei Klappbügeln und passenden Hangschlössern aus dem 18./19. Jahrhundert. Auf dem Deckel Schlüsselloch mit Geheimabdeckung.

Deckel innen mit grotesker, gravierter Schlossabdeckung. Der intakte Schlossmechanismus mit fünf Riegeln. Deckel mit drei Scharnieren und einem tordierten Haltebügel. Innen mit roter Eisenmennige gefasst.

Breite: 68 cm; Höhe: 38 cm; Tiefe: 41 cm; Höhe Schlösser: 14 und 13 cm.

ZUSTAND

Gute bis sehr gute Erhaltung und mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Schöne, gewachsene Alterspatina. Deckel mit Resten von altem Siegellack. Schossmechanismus intakt. Ein Riegel nicht spannbar.

Originaler Schlüssel vorhanden. Vorhängeschlösser intakt. Im Boden zwei Löcher zur Befestigung zur Sicherung am Boden oder Befestigung im Wagen.

DESCRIPTION

Very attractive large iron chest with two matching intact padlocks. Lid and body with riveted iron bands. Two twisted handles on the sides. Front centre with blind lock and two hinged brackets and matching 18th/19th century padlocks. On the lid keyhole with secret cover. Lid inside with grotesque engraved lock cover. The intact lock mechanism with five latches. Lid with three hinges and a twisted retaining bracket. The interior set with red iron minium.

Width: 68 cm; Height: 38 cm; Depth: 41 cm; Height of locks: 14 and 13 cm.

Weight: 46 kg 

CONDITION

Good to very good condition and with signs of age and use. Beautiful, mature age patina. Lid with remnants of old sealing wax. Drawer mechanism intact. One latch not tensionable. Original key is available. Padlocks intact. Two holes in the base for securing to the floor or fixing to the trolley.
