Laguiole, a small Aveyron village in Southern France, lent its name to a famed curved pocket knife with a bee motif. It was very popular with agricultural workers in the last century for their seasonal migration. 

Nowadays many cutlery firms manufacture its model using very different techniques and materials. Because Laguiole knives with highly variable qualities have appeared from France and around the world, you should be sure of your knife’s provenance. 

Founded in 1902 by Blaise Dozorme, also referred to as "the wolf," the Claude Dozorme brand is the signature of a long and modern family tradition. For more than 100 years, all products have carried his name as the guarantee for quality, technical know-how and tradition, which are appreciated by connoisseurs, gourmands and chefs.

This listing is for a lovely set of 6 Laguiole steak knives and matching forks from Claude Dozorme with high quality stainless steel and natural colored synthetic material. 

Each stainless steel knife is entirely manufactured by Claude Dozorme's factory in Thiers, France and hand-made with great attention to detail and justifiably carries the classical Laguiole bee symbol.  

Imported from France for Frenchmaison, the knives and forks are authentic, brand new and unused. 

Ready for gift-giving, they are presented in a beautiful wooden box. Made in France. Hand-wash recommended.
