Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a lovely sugar and creamer set with elegant etched design and heavy Sterling Silver bases. Both pieces are decorated with an all-over etched flower garland design. The glassware is from the Elegant Glassware period in the United States from the 1920's through the 1950's. This category of glass was more elegant and higher quality glass than the more common Depression glass produced during this period. These etched decorated pieces were made by many of the finer glass manufacturers in the U.S. although we have not identified this pattern or maker. Both pieces are mounted on very heavy Sterling Silver bases made by the Sheffield Silver Company of Brooklyn NY in business from1919-1974 when they were absorbed into Reed & Barton.

Creamer measures 4 1/8" high, 5" wide (spout to handle) and has a 2 7/8" diameter base. The double handle sugar bowl measures 3 3/4" high (at handles), 3 5/8" in diameter (at top) and has a 2 7/8" diameter base. Combined weight is 8.4 ounces.

This nice sugar and creamer set is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
