Das Blatt stammt aus dem berühmten Verlag von Simon Vostre, Rouen oder Paris, um 1500. AUSSTATTUNG Ganzseitige Miniatur mit Darstellung des Marientod, eingefasst von Säulen-Architektonischer Portalbordüre und Ornamentik. Mittig auf dem Totenbett liegt Maria im Kreis der Apostel. Verso 31-zeiliger Text, gotischer Druck in Schwarz. 4-seitige Metallschnitt-Bordüre mit Grotesken, Putti, Teufel, Fabelwesen u.a. sowie insgesamt 23 Initialen in verschiedenen Größen in Rot und Blau mit Pinselgold verzierter Ornamentik. ABMESSUNGEN Blatt: 24 x 16 cm; Schriftrahmen: 15,5 x 8 cm; Miniatur: 21,5 x 15 cm. ZUSTAND Für das hohe Alter von über 500 Jahren in einem außerordentlich guten Zustand. Pergamentbedingt gebräunt, im unteren Blattrand mit Braunfleck. Ohne Beschädigungen und Einrisse. Kräftiger Druck. ILLUSTRATION Full-page miniature depicting the death of Mary, framed by a columned architectural portal border and ornamentation. In the centre Mary lies on her deathbed in a circle of apostles. Verso 31-line text, Gothic print in black. 4-page metal-cut border with grotesques, putti, devils, mythical creatures, etc. as well as a total of 23 initials in various sizes in red and blue with ornamentation decorated in brush gold.
