This boxed edition of the beloved classic, The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, was printed in 1993 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the book's inception. The run was limited to 1175 copies. The set is in its original gilt-lettered cloth dropback box with brass clasp. Includes introductory booklet (4p.) and facsimile volumes of the three stages of the classic book: The picture letter Beatrix Potter wrote to Noel Moore in 1893, her own privately-printed volume in 1901, and the original deluxe edition published by Frederick Warne in 1902.
