The author used real life examples behind the peculiarities, making it an interesting and entertaining read even for readers that do not have a background in law. 

The item is in good acceptable condition -- there are age stains, discolouration, and fading on the front and back covers of the book. 

All pages are clean and unmarked with no writing, there are a few age stains on the first pages and on the edges of the book but overall, the integrity of the item is still quite good. 

The staple binding is still solid and intact.
