Vintage British men's lifestyle magazine Town - rare late 1960's edition. 

This edition is dated '67 April.   Town is an extremely sought after and iconic men's fashion and style title, copies of which are getting more and more difficult to find.

Contents include -

Interview with the son of Alfonse Mucha; Jiri Mucha, by Tariq Ali.  Clive Arrowsmith travels to his 14th century palace in Prague to shoot exclusive images for Town magazine.  4 pages.  

Ruan O'Lochlainn photographs Stepney in the East End of London.  15 amazing images spread over 6 pages inc full page shots.

Peter Fluck illustrates a short story by Norman Levine will a full page image of a couple.  

Where and how to 'chat up the birds' by Jeffrey Bernard, illustrations by Barry Zaid, 2 pages. 

Death of an actor / Birth of a cult - Anthony Haden Guest talks to Montgomery Clift, and an interview becomes a memoir.  2 page feature.  

Marc Leonard photographs a men's fashion editorial with clothes by Mr. Fish, Austin Reed John Michael at Savile Row etc.  4 pages, approx 16 images.

Town is one of the most important vintage magazine titles.  With contributions from  influential writers, photographers, artists, illustrators, models and muses it can only be described as the very best 'Who's Who' of  British sixties culture.  All bound into one beautiful magazine.  Now sadly rarely seen.

Nice mix of stock - white gloss and brown matt paper inserts. 

Very good condition. Light foxing to cover which is normal age-related wear.
