I get a number of requests to make brass cased weights for long case or larger lantern clocks. The problem has always been finding thin-walled brass for the case. A problem that I have now solved.

The pair shown here were made for a very special c17 key-wound London long-case clock. They are 1.5in (38mm) in diameter and 9.5 and 17cms tall. They weigh ~1.2 and 2.1kg respectively. In 2in (50mm) diameter brass, I can make these weights up to ~4kg. The weights pictured are deliberately aged, but I can supply them polished if preferred.

My model was an authentic C18 example in my collection which is pictured in another listing

The brass tube for these weights is expensive, so I need to charge £45 + postage.

If you need advice on determining the weight you need for your clock, please message me. I only make these to order so please allow 7-10 days for manufacture.

For counterweights and some period items, see last photo and my other listings. Please enquire for specific requirements or shipping outside the UK.

Some excerpts from my recent feedback:

"Superb looking weights for a period clock"
