Long Blank Basswood Carving Boards for Carving Crafting & Whittling 24" x 3" x 1/2" (600mm x 75mm x 12.5mm) Basswood is a soft, fine and even textured material that is perfect for wood carving. It is smooth enough to be able to draw, paint or write on and is great for carving, whittling and shaping. This product is suitable for beginners, children and experts alike whether you are a whittler or are looking for a DIY project.
The timber for all our wooden products is sourced from FSC certified forests.
Our plywood is made from quality birch and is suitable for laser cutting and our MDF is Medite and again is suitable for laser cutting.
Our Oak plugs, and dowels are made from European Oak, our shaker pegs from Oak and Birch and all wooden items are supplied unfinished.
