They are much better all round, nicer and easier to use, and you get the benefit of being able to buy other tools to fit the battery, at much cheaper prices.Please note when changing the either line and brushcutter heads.  In the pack of tools supplied with the machine you will find a L shaped bar that can be insert into the top of the gear box (above the line head) via the small hole.  On turning the line head by hand the bar will locate and lock the drive shaft allowing for the line head to be removed.  Threads are normally a left-handed and undo the opposite way that you would normally undo something.  After you have removed the head please make sure the locking part of the gearbox remains in place, as this will allow you to tighten the blade onto the shaft when it is fitted.
