We are always cleaning out houses that contain some great vintage and antique items.  Our inventory is constantly changing. Here are 2 pieces of Sterling Silver flatware infant feeding spoons, from S. Kirk & Sons. Each spoon measures approximately 6 inches long, and the pair weigh a total of 49.9 grams.  The pieces do shows signs of use including light scuffing (please see photos). The shovel like spoon is monogramed very lightly with the initials, LMA, and has a very small dark spot in the bowl. If you are looking for a piece that looks new, these can be professionally polished which would remove the monogram and the light scuffing, as well as the small dark spot in the shovel bowl as any oxidation in that spot is shallow and small. The spoon is marked, S.Kirk & Sons Sterling, which the company used from 1846 to 1890. The shovel type spoon is marked Sterling Kirk Pat, which I believe is a pre 1846 mark, probably made between 1821-1846. Please review the photos for a complete description.  

We do not collect these items, and we are NOT experts. We appreciate any information you may have to assist us in identifying, or toward providing a more accurate description, but we do require some authority for the information.  We provide a lot of photos, but please ask questions if you have them.

We also offer Federal Express Home Delivery, parcel post or first class mail if you ask.  We understand that shipping costs can be expensive.  We do our best to minimize the cost but if you email us before bidding or paying, we will do whatever we can to work with you.

Insurance is included in shipping cost. 
Payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction. Shipments are generally made within 2 days of receipt of payment.
