Gaggia Classic/Baby Contact Thermostat 145°C 10A 250V Brew Temp.

Mounted on the top of the boiler the 145 degree thermostat controls the steam temperature.

Should be fitted with a small amount of silicone heatsink paste.

Do not use a spanner to tighten, you will shear the thread. Thumb tight is enough. More than enough.

Take care when tightening, too much pressure, too much paste, a crossed thread, these could all lead to a broken thread. This thermostat has an M4 Brass thread, which is not designed to be tightened to within an inch of it's life.
