Strong but compact plastic hook fitted to a loop of 4mm diameter elastic shock cord / bungee cord. Available in a range of loop sizes and cord colours.

These extremely versatile fittings can be used with the cord passed through an eyelet to secure lightweight sheet materials, banners, and covers etc, to a frame or anchor points. They can also be used to wrap the loop around an object and back to the hook. Used in this way they are ideal for securing fabric or canvas rolls or as sail tidies. Ideal for securing kit to bike racks, panniers and rucksacks. A host of camping and boating applications. The fittings are strong and durable. The hook is impact resistant, thick cast, plastic. The elastic shock cord has a tough natural rubber latex core sheathed in high-strength, UV resistant, polypropylene braiding. The size refers to the folded length of the un-stretched loop and includes the hook itself (46mm). The shock cord loop is capable of approximately 100% elongation, although, for safety reasons, we recommend that the fitting not be used with the loop extended more than 75%.
