Blackwater Vintage Knits - Vintage Knitting Patterns, Hand-Knits and Hand-Dyed Yarn

You will receive a printed A4 copy of the pattern which has been enlarged and digitally restored to remove creasemarks, stains and other marks of age. You will not receive the original pattern nor the knitted item. The pattern will be printed double sided with a light water mark and sent in a plastic wallet and hard-backed envelope. 

A typical wartime 'Make Do and Mend' Pattern to utilise leftovers and reused yarns, this is a pretty buttoned waistcoat or vest

Size: Designed for 34in bust (will stretch a couple of inches)

Materials: Pattern states 3oz vintage 3ply yarn in the main shade and 1oz in each of 6 contrast shades. 8 buttons

Gauge: 8st and 8 rows to 1 inch on No 9 (3.75 mm) needles
