With growing demand on laminate or wood engineered flooring very often people are facing difficulties with what to do with the staircase? How closely to match floor or interior colours?
We offer a solid Ash staircase cladding with variety of natural wood colours to get closer to customers design ideas. Ash is one of the best timbers using on staircase manufacturing, it's very solid and durable and it looks amazing. Staircase in some point is house representive because its the first thing people will see entering house.
Our cladding set contains:
Stair treads made of solid Ash 27mm thick, 950mm wide and 270mm deep
Stair raisers made of Ash veneered mdf 6mm thick, 240mm height and 950mm wide
27 mm tread thickness is crucial in wood stability, minimum reaction to the temperature and humid conditions. As well it gives more support to the old staircase construction and reduces squeaking noise.
6mm mdf is mainly used for riser cover and does not require strength. Also the thiner riser will leave more space for tread depth making it more comfortable.

SOLID ASH STAIRCASE CLADDING FULL SET

Includes:

12 Solid Ash Treads 950mm/270mm/27mm

13 Ash Veneered MDF risers 950mm/240mm/6mm

Please note that there is slight difference in colour between riser and tread, once fitted almost impossible to see the difference

Ash treads untreated and require the final polish with 150-180 grit sandpaper to remove minor scratches which can occur in delivery or packing process.

All parts will be treated one layer with Osmo Tints hardwax oil, which is an extremely strong wood protection, long lasting and looks amazing in every single natural wood colour.
For extra safety and durability on top one layer of clear Osmo Anti - Slip hardwax oil.
