This Phase II sized 6-string active soapbar set delivers a Hi-Fi tone and monster attack.
Description
The ASB2 is similar to our original ASB soapbar pickups but with some extra fire inside. The EQ of this pickup has been shifted to deliver heightened mid range and a slightly harder attack without being harsh. There is an overall hi-fi tone and the response gives you razor sharp detail in the lowest of lows and highest of highs. Every note is precise and super tight, which is paramount to intricate playing styles, or when using overdrive or gain in your signal chain. The internal split-blade design underneath the cover to allow for the best string-to-string balance of any soapbar.
These pickups are a direct replacement for any EMG 45 sized pickup slot.
Many bassists combine the ASB pickups with our STC-2A or STC-3A Tone Circuit preamps to add precision EQ sculpting. Battery life is approximately 1,000 continuous hours per set and we include all necessary mounting and wiring hardware.
