This listing is for one 1973 Kawasaki Z1,
1974 Kawasaki Z1-A or 1975 Kawasaki Z1-B
Drive chain automatic oiler pump assembly.

The pictures show the pump assembly.

This is a very rare part and would only be sought
out by someone who is attempting to restore their
Z1 to absolute factory condition.
I have personally removed at least one hundred
of these along with the oil tank and thrown them
directly into the trash.
In use, the chain oiler was a nightmare to put it
mildly.  It did keep the chain well oiled, along  
with the left side of the tire, the chain guard,
the countershaft sprocket cover and the garage  
floor where the bike was parked.
But, Kawasaki did put it on every Z1 ever built
and if you want your bike to be original, you  
need to have one of these.

The seventh picture is an attempt
to show the Mikuni date marking.  
It is a small 31 which means the
manufacture date was January 1973.
