1950s Dorset Fifth Ave gold tone round Flapjack style Compact with the Map of Alaska on lid. The map is done by transfer paint. The back has multiple engine turned parallel ovals, the center being concentric circles. Inside is a mirror which shows a crackled backing. The powder compartment lid has concentric circles with the center being high gloss with the etched words "Dorset Fifth Avenue" and the figures of a man and woman with an umbrella. The powder puff has printed on it "Dorset Fifth Avenue". The compact appears to have never been used. We have carefully researched, examined and described this compact to the best of our abilities.
