Welding electrode. New condition, excellent quality. Carbon electrodes are made from amorphous electrical carbons in the form of round rods with a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 250 mm with a smooth black surface. Designed for air-arc cutting of metals, metal welding, cutting rivets, removing casting defects, shavings from electric tacks and welds at currents up to 1000 A, as well as carbon electrodes of the SK-6 brand are used in welding machines.
The end of the electrode is sharpened at an angle of 60-70°, and for welding non-ferrous metals - 20-40°. Carbon electrode welding can be successfully used for welding non-ferrous metals and surfacing hard alloys. Since electrodes can withstand high temperatures, they are used for mixing low-melting metals in a crucible, also in laboratory research. Each electrode is checked by me personally before shipping).
