Check eBay closely. There are plenty of Ray Manzarek autographs, but very few on records and CDs and NONE on 45 rpm singles. NONE. 

Except for this one.

 Here's the story:

 I worked at Tower Records on Sunset Strip in W. Hollywood from 1980 - 1991 (and continued with Tower until its demise in 2006). During the mid-80's, I was the singles buyer and amassed a huge collection of autographed #1 singles. My collection's reputation spread through the industry and artists actually started seeking me out to make sure I had their autographed #1 hit(s) in my collection. It was pretty f%^&in' cool!

Ray Manzarek personally signed this single in my presence backstage at Tower Records, Sunset Strip. W. Hollywood, CA. 

Condition:

- Sleeve is exactly as shown, a little bent and creased

- Autograph is in good, strong, bold Sharpie.

- The record has never been played. 

- The label has virtually no wear (see closeup image of label). It has been in plastic since I got it sometime in the mid-to-late '80s.

  

Hello I Love You was a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 on for two weeks in August of 1968.

It was one of only two #1 singles by the Doors
