Bowl is in excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Very
nice Portmeirion porcelain soup bowl. Crafted in England starting
from 1972, this features the Botanic Garden pattern in the Trailing Bindweed style with floral designs and various lovely
butterflies with a green laurel band around the border. Designed by
Susan Williams-Ellis, this is Microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher
safe. The back is stamped.
Measures 8 1/2" Wide rim to rim. No signs of use.
Portmeirion
artist Susan Ellis-Williams came up with the idea for Botanic Garden in
1972, when she was looking through rare books and discovered a volume
of beautiful, meticulously drawn floral illustrations. The launch of
Botanic Garden included 28 different flowers and was an immediate
success.
