This is an antique ladies evening bag that has an intricate hand embroidered floral pattern on the front with hand sewn beaded detailing.

Micro beads which you could take them all off and make them into something else.

Inside has a cream silk material lining with a couple of side pockets and there is a small gilt mirror in one of them.
No maker's marks etc.

There are a couple of bald patches on the surface where the beaded design has come loose. There are also some stains on the surface material. The inner material has some little marks which look like lipstick stains right at the bottom. The colours of the thread are faded.

It measures approx. 8 inches x 6 inches when flattened.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
