Titled "The Silent Pool" Lyndhurst, Hants. An Original English Landscape oil painting by Sidney Yates Johnson, who exhibited in the Royal Academy and was working between 1890-1926.
The painting is initialled in the bottom corner SJ and is inscribed on the front of the original frame S Yates Johnson. There is some damage to the frame but the picture is perfect. On the back is a label stating the title and location, which is quite rare.
Size, Total including frame, 20 x 18 inches or 61.5 x 45.5 cms, canvas 17 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches or 44 x 29 cms.
