~American Girl Felicity's Windsor Writing Chair~
This listing is for Pleasant Company American Girl's Windsor Writing
Chair which is also known as Felicity's Windsor Chair. This chair was introduced to Felicity's Collection in 1991 and was retired in 2008. This item is associated with the story "Felicity Learns a Lesson". The second
edition of this chair was later released with an inkwell and pen.
Felicity's chair will come in its original box. There is a white heart sticker on one end of the box that reads ESF. There is a black x on the opposite end with a personal sticker about 1 1/2" wide with Felicity's Chair hand written on it.
It is more than 30 years old so the box does show some wear. The chair is in excellent used condition. There are a couple imperfections on the seat as you can see in pictures 9 and 10. Please zoom in on the above pictures to determine the condition for yourself.
Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence while seated in a handsome writing chair like this one. The writing arm swings from side to side so Felicity can sit easily in her full gowns. Under the seat is a drawer that holds her writing supplies (not included). This is an exquisite hardwood reproduction. And you know American Girl quality, this is made with quality craftsmanship. Felicity will look lovely in her cherry wood stained chair.
