Елена Михайловна Иваненко (Иваненко-Шапошникова) (1888 - 1971) - московский живописец и график. 
   В 1920-е занималась иллюстрированием детской книги в московских издательствах "Рабочая газета" и Г. Ф. Мириманова.

   Первый номер детского литературно-художественного журнала "Мурзилка" вышел в 1924 г. 
Образ Мурзилки создан художником А. Каневским в 1937 г. Журнал Мурзилка выходит ежемесячно книжками, 
отпечатанными крупным шрифтом, со множеством рисунков и с обложкой в красках, с приложениями - 
в виде картин для вырезывания и склеивания. „Мурзилка" отразит в себе и ребячье житье-бытье, и природу. 
„Мурзилка" покажет, как ребята должны работать сообща, чтобы им весело было от работы.

11 pages. Pocket format. Size 115 x 85 cm. Original publishing paperback. Complete copy. Fine condition: almost completely clean
 the text block except for fox stains (foxings, oxidationpaper); cover - slight wear and small stains; small defects, 
traces of time (see pictures).

I will slightly improve this tale in accordance with today's current situation. The original text begins:
"Old grandfather Gavril
Lived in Ukraine
Grandfather Gavril Bashtan-garden planted"
After February 24, 2022, the continuation should read like this:
"A Russian soldier came with a machine gun
Burned down grandfather's house
Bashtan ravaged
And he killed grandfather Gavril.

   Elena Ivanenko (Ivanenko-Shaposhnikova 1888 - 1971) - Moscow painter and graphic artist.
In the 1920s she illustrated children's books in the Moscow publishing houses "Working newspaper" and G. F. Mirimanova.

   The first issue of the children's literary and artistic magazine "Murzilka" was published in 1924.
The image of Murzilka was created by the artist A. Kanevsky in 1937. The Murzilka magazine is published monthly in books,
printed in large print, with a lot of drawings and with a cover in colors, with applications -
in the form of pictures for cutting and gluing. "Murzilka" will reflect in itself both a childish life and being, and nature.
"Murzilka" will show how the guys should work together so that they have fun at work.
