The first 20,000 stamps of this series are thematically dedicated to the uniforms and insignia of the Ukrainian army.  The series "Land Units" will be put into circulation by the state postal operator Ukrposhta.

The stamp sheet consists of eight postage stamps, which represent the forms of missile and artillery, mechanized troops, air defense forces, mountain infantry, tank troops, army aircraft, presidential regiment and military uniform.

Artist Oleksiy Bondarenko worked on sketches of postage stamps.  First Day envelopes and a special redemption stamp were also issued for postage stamps.
