La Pavoni Grouphead service kit - Pre Millennium 49mm Europiccola & Professional.

Contains all of the seals, pins, roller, washers and shower screen required to maintain a 49mm pre millennium grouphead. Left in the 3rd photo.

The kit also includes a sachet of silicone grease needed to refit the piston seals and the other o-rings.

The piston v seals are upgraded to Blue Silicone. This is softer ad so easier to fit than the OEM rubber ones, and is more resistant to heat. This means you will get more heat cycles out of the seals and as a result they will in theory last longer.

This kit also includes the punched washer and seeger ring that are used to retain the clear lip seal (number 73) at the top of the group sealing the piston rod in the grouphead.

1 x Sachet of Silicone Grease suitable for the use in coffee machine applications.

Silicone grease, also known as plumbers grease is used to seal joints by filling in the gaps, it is hydrophobic and most importantly doesn't age the silicone and rubber gaskets.

Please note the 2 steam wand gaskets are only used with the removable steam wand post 1994 (ish this is for a pavoni after all where date lines are not always clear!!)
