Special Antique 1930s Cream Organdy Gown with Floral Flocking and peplum AS IS. This beautiful gown is made of organdy silk and features flocking done in a floral design. There is a white metal zipper along the left hand side of the bodice which acts as the only closure for this dress. The cream toned organdy silk is entirely see through and would have been worn with a slip underneath. This gown has a square neckline adorned with ruffles, these ruffles are also seen on the cuffs of the long sleeves. There is a peplum effect on the skirt where the fabric is gathered at the hips and around the back as well.

This gown is in great condition with only a few very small stains, a few almost holes in the organdy (very small spots of wear), and one spot about an inch long where the seem has separated. This piece is in delicate wearable condition, perfect for a seamstress or costume designer.
