Lost Not Forgotten Archives: When Dream And Day Reunite (Live)

In 1985 Dream Theater was founded. To date, the US progressive metal icons have released numerous records, including 14 studio and nine live albums. However, some recordings remained unpublished.

With their new album series "Lost Not Forgotten Archives", which they brought to life in 2021, they show that they have not forgotten these archive treasures. In collaboration with the Inside Out label, the long-running YtseJam catalog is relaunched alongside some brand new additions to this special collector's series. YtseJam Records, then founded by Mike Portnoy, was the publisher of Dream Theater's official bootleg collection, which includes live shows, demos and studio outtakes from throughout the band's career. As part of Lost Not Forgotten Archives, the entire collection will be re-released on CD and for the first time on vinyl with brand new artwork and packaging.

After the concert recordings "Images And Words - Live In Japan, 2017" and "A Dramatic Tour Of Events - Select Board Mixes", the instrumental demo collection "Train Of Thought Instrumental Demos" and the Metallica live homage "Master Of Puppets - Live in Barcelona, ​​2002, Dream Theater will continue the series in December with Lost Not Forgotten Archives: When Dream And Day Reunite (Live).

The 2004 recording was recorded in Los Angeles and includes a full live performance of the band's first studio album When Dream And Day Unite, released in 1989, and a reunion with former members Derek Sherinian and Charlie Dominici.

The concert recording is being released on vinyl for the first time ever: as a classic black double LP in a gatefold sleeve including a CD. The recordings were completely remastered for »Lost Not Forgotten Archives: When Dream And Day Reunite (Live)«.
