This edition of "The Complete Short Stories of Guy de Maupassant" comes in acceptable to good condition, with fully intact binding, soiling on the first several pages through part of the table of contents pages, minor yellowing of the pages, edge wear to the cover and spine (with additional wear to the top edge of the spine), and discoloration inside both cover boards (see pictures).

The book reads "The Collected Works of Guy de Maupassant" on the spine, and has an ornately embossed front cover.  It was published by Walter J. Black, Inc. (no copyright or printing date).
