Date stamped on the verso “Oct 11, 1938” and with a typed description affixed to the verso indicating that the couple traveled aboard the liner Canadian Pacific Empress of Japan. With the photographer’s blindstamp “Alfred Krausee to the lower left-hand corner. Very good with some minor handling and slight creasing. Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875 - 1950) is best known for his prolific output in the adventure, science fiction, and fantasy genres, especially so for his Tarzan and John Carter series.
