Over 170,000 people turned out on 26 August 2005 for the concert of French electronic music composer Jean Michel Jarre to mark the 25th anniversary of Poland's Solidarity trade union which helped bring down communism. In front of an enthusiastic crowd massed amidst the naval shipyards in the northern town of Gdansk, Jarre played some well-know tracks including the 'Oxygene' and 'Equinoxe' suites amongst his new repertoire.
