Antique Sevres porcelain trinket/jewel box.  Based on the bottom mark (see photos), which is the double “L” enclosing the letter “R”, it is believed that this box was made in 1770.  It is made of white porcelain, with an exterior ground of maroon which is decorated with gold.  A floral arrangement is the central motif on the lid and the box front. The box top edge and lid have bronze trim, with a clasp and hinges. The box is white inside, with repeats of the floral motif inside on the lid and the box bottom.  This box is in absolutely excellent antique condition.   There are no chips, no cracks, nor gold wear.  The hinge and clasp work smoothly.  A wonderful collector piece.  The box is 6 3/8th inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall (to top of lid.)
