Pair of Panasonic LUMIX FZ2500 20.1MP Digital SLR Cameras

Wired for 3D - Plus extra batteries, SD cards

I developed an interest in Nature 3D Photography and used pairs of Panasonic FZ2500 cameras. My favorite configuration is vertically so you can use the viewfinders and compose the subject in 3D. You can also view the recorded pair in 3D too. Works great! (PS. I have not included any mounts with these cameras, I assume you have your own. If you need mounts, I have a variety on my ebay store - see my other listings and search for "twin camera bars")

I sent this pair of cameras to the Netherlands to have them internally wired. The cost for this was $250 plus shipping.

After wired and with the wires connected, the following camera functions are coupled:
- Turn ON
- Zoom (I recommend using step zoom vs. continuous zoom)
- Firing the shutter
- Turn OFF

You can also use the cameras without the wires connected, with an external twin remote (I sell these in my store)

If you use the wires, please be very careful and protect the wires at the point that they are inserted in the camera (I recommend gluing them with a glue gun). If you do not protect them, with time they will break. I am speaking from experience. If they break, you can still use the cameras for 3D with an external twin remote, but you lose the benefits if ON/OF and synchronized zoom.

Rig comes with everything that you see in the pictures, plus a strap and some small things not shown. I am including the original lens hoods but I personally prefer the rubber hoods that you see. I have formatted the cameras but did not reset the cameras, I left the setting I use. You can reset the cameras before you use them, if you like too. 

About the condition, it is excellent, but as I was inspecting the cameras, I noticed that the front rim of one camera is dislocated (see picture). I am not sure how/when this happened. I did not notice it before and it seems to have no effect on the camera functions.

Regarding Synchronization: All Panasonic cameras I have worked with using polling so average synchronization is not perfect. It can be as high as 1/500s or higher and as low as 1/100s or lower. It is variable. You need to shoot more than one pictures to make sure you get a good pair if there is motion.

This is a wonderful 3D camera rig for nature photography and I have taken many good pictures with it. The last two pictures show a self-portrait with these cameras in vertical mounting orientation and an award-winning picture taken with them (I have a lot!)
