EL-50448 TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor EL50448 OEC-T5 For Series Vehicles
EL-50448 TPMS el 50448 Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor Description:
For GM vehicles equipped with a 315 or 433 MHz Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system, a "Sensor Re-Learn Procedure" must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool EL-50448. Also works on 2014 models
Kindly Note:
Package would not come with battery due to the rules of post office, Battery on the picture just for displaying.
For TPMS Activation Tool OEC-T5 Intruduction:
The tire pressure sensor on models in & after 2012 can be read, only with some specified diagnostic tools.
Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor.
And use the following methods to read the tire pressure sensor after replacing a tire or wheel speed sensor. Please refer to the specific methods as follows:
Step 1 - Enter leaning mode
Set the gearshift lever to "P"
Put the ignition switch to “ON”
Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DIC
DIC shows "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn"
Press “Set / Ctrl”
The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode
Step 2 - Read tire pressure sensor information
Start from the front-left wheel,
Make the J-46079 or Diagnostic Tool EL-50448 antenna up against the valve core position & close to the rim of the tire sidewall
El-50448 tire pressure tool starts by the start switch
Successful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn bleeps once
Step 3 - Same method to read other tire pressure information
Follow the instuction above to read tire pussure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels.
Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.

How to switch between and Ford brand?
Hold the power button for 3 seconds and 2 LEDs flashing 2 times, selected brand’s LED flashing 2 times.
How to detetied which mode the device in?
Press the power button, if the Green LED flashing, means Super EL50448 in mode, if the Red LED flashing, means Super EL50448 in Ford mode.
How to use Super EL50448?
1. Need 1x Pcs 9V battery to work ( Not included in Package, need customer prepare themself）
2. Set the car in TPMS learning mode. (car horns twice)
3. Starting from the left front tire, the antenna of the dedicated tool for tire pressure monitoring is facing upwards against the tire sidewall near the rim of the valve stem to start the antenna. Press and release the button and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. Once the speaker is chirping, the sensor information is read and the turn signal to be read at the next position will light.
4. Follow this order to rest TPMS one by one: Front left, front right, rear right, rear left.
5. After all sensors reseted, the car horns twice, the TPMS re-learn finished.
How to set my car in TPMS re-learn mode?
series cars:
1. Make the gear in P position.
2. Use cruise to choose TPMS re-learn mode in the dashboard settings.
3. Horn will ring twice and the TPMS indicator flashes, then the learning mode has been successfully entered. If equipped, the message center will display the front left (LF) tire
Ford series cars:
1. Make the gear in P position.
2. With the ignition switch to OFF, press and release the brake pedal
3. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times and end at RUN position
4. Depress and release the brake pedal
5. Ignition to OFF position
6. Ignition goes from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times and ends at RUN position
7. Horn will ring once and the TPMS indicator flashes, then the learning mode has been successfully entered. If equipped, the message center will display the front left (LF) tire

Pro Tips!!!
-Make sure all tires are inflated to door placard suggested.
-Be sure ALL other sensors are out of range of vehicle antenna, (10 ft range min).
-Disable all other WiFi/Bluetooth and electronic accessory devices**.
**Includes HID kits, car audio systems, navigation, back-up cameras, if NOT original equipment, these devices may cause RF disruption.
**This Relearn procedure requires the use of a OBDII tool**
A properly formatted scan tool is required to learn sensor IDs when replacing sensors.
- Inflate all tires
- Read all sensor IDs using tool
- Connect tool to OBDII port
- Reset ECU with tool
- Ignition OFF then ON
- Drive at 25 MPH for up to 10 minutes
DESCRIPTION
The U508 Universal TPMS Reset Tool "wakes up" tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors mounted to the vehicle's wheel.
This item can do all function of EL50448 OTC-5 for , TPMS19 for Ford, function like ATEQ AT06 scanner.
FUNCTION
The U508 sends a RF signal to the TPMS sensor mounted to the vehicle's wheel to “wake up” the sensor. Once the tool triggers the sensor, the sensor is ready to communicate with the vehicle's ECU.
INSTRUCTIONS
While holding the tool next to the side wall of the tire above the sensor, press and hold the button to trigger the sensor (You can also press the tool directly against the sidewall of the tire). An orange light will illuminate on the tool.
Continue to hold the button down until successful signal transfer to the vehicle's ECU, diagnostic station or until the vehicle's horn "beeps".
