VTG 12-piece James Kent "DuBarry" tea set slight flaws (see notes) A BARGAIN! This is a vintage 12-piece James Kent Ltd "DuBarry" tea set from the 1930's. A teapot, (1 1/2 PT) sugar bowl and creamer, two cups and saucers, four small plates(6 1/2") a small nut/sweets plate (3") 11 of the pieces are marked: James Kent Ltd., Langton, Made in England, "DuBarry".  The sugar bowl is marked: James Kent Ltd., Fenton, Made in England, "DuBarry".  The set is in very good  condition.  The colors are bright and the gold trim is still quite good.  Some of the pieces have slight flaws but none of these are obvious or prevent it from use. Here are the conditions of each piece:
TEAPOT slight chip on spout, gold trim shows wear (see photo) no crazing. CREAMER a slight chip on the bottom of the lip SUGAR BOWL barely visible crack on inside TWO CUPS gold trim slightly worn 2 SCALLOP EDGE SAUCERS no flaws, excellent condition TWO SMALL PLATES (6 1/2") no flaws, excellent condition TWO SMALL PLATES (6 1/2") some crazing visible only  on underside NUT PLATE tiny chip on corner.  This is a lovely set ready to decorate your home or entertain a friend with a lovely summer tea.  Having  several tea sets and moving to a smaller space, I just do not have room to keep it.
