The Ducati Energia 100μF power electronic capacitor is 450VAC small in size and lightweight. It is fitted with an M8x10mm stud for mounting. The dielectric is polyurethane film, the electrodes consist of an extremely thin metal coating obtained by vacuum evaporation. Electric motor capacitors are used for start and run and are available in a plastic case (safety protection class P0 and P2) and metallic case (P2). Its case and cover are made from self-extinguishing plastic material, the capacitive element is sealed with polyurethane resin.
