This is one of a number of certificates and awards that I am listing relating to a Mr Joseph Thomas Baldwin, a farrier from Tadcaster, Yorkshire. These are all dated between 1930-1939 from various competitions and events throughout the county of Yorkshire.

3 antique black and white real photograph postcards of the man himself: J.T. Baldwin stood posing with some of his awards. These photos have been mounted onto a piece of black card which is from an album.
He has won a large trophy cup, a tankard, a clock, and has 3 certificates to go along with them.
Unfortunately the photographs are faded so it's hard to make out all of the information on the certificates.
He won a 1st prize and a gold medal at horse-shoeing competitions which I think are from the Harrogate Agricultural Society and the other certificate is from the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
I can't see any dates but he was entering competitions all through the 1930s.

See the actual certificates shown here - listed for sale on my ebay.

Please see pictures provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.
Normal signs of age and use wear, mostly on the edges and corners.
As mentioned, the photographs are faded but this may have been how the photographs were originally printed and not sun damage.

The photographs all measure approx. 5 and 1/2 inches x 3 and 1/2 inches.
The page they are mounted on measures approx. 11 and 1/8 inches x 9 and 1/2 inches.

My stock ref : #JB certs folder.
