You are buying a working and tested - 1989 ATARI LYNX Portable Color Entertainment System. I plugged it in and played one of the games included as shown. This is 100% (TESTED/ Works) With a larger 17” box. It may need a $14.95 new on eBay - Comlynx cable if you want to hook to other Atari Lynx systems but the cable included is similar. The rest is perfectly clean and is actually kinda retro cool to play. It has a volume control which I turned up and there is no speaker crackle and it is loud! So the speaker is fine as well as the rest. One small white dot on the screen is really the only flaw and that can be fixed I’m sure and you can’t see it when playing anyway. High bidder gets this rare system!  Yes, the battery cover is there. I took it off just to show how perfect the inside was.
