The book presents a detailed account of the historic story of Dunkirk during World War II. Chapter titles include "What was Dunkirk?, Plan D, The English Shore and Dunkirk, the Planning of Operation Dynamo, The Naval and Air Problems, The Week Preceding the Evacuation - and each of the 9 days from May 26-June 3, 1940 of the evacuation." The book is comprised of text only. 

Condition: It is in fair to good (interior) condition. There is moderate soiling with significant edgewear and tears along the edges and folds of the dust jacket. There is minor soiling and edgewear to the cover. There is minor soiling with light brown spotting to the outside of the page ends, with minor soiling and light tanning to the endpapers. There is a small worn area at the top right border of the front endpaper. The former owner's bookplate is attached to the front endpaper. The pages are intact, clean and unmarked by notations or highlighting.
