Amazing little celluloid pin. The design was patented in 1898, bit this is likely from a few years later (1902-1906ish “Buster Brown” era). This is either a boy who is wearing an outfit highly-inspired by Buster Brown, or perhaps even a boy specifically dressed up to represent Buster Brown. During this era, real people sometimes dressed to play the part of Buster Brown. There were even “little peole” who drove cars into towns and played the character.



Overall good. Some wear to the white enamel. Please see images.
