Here is a vintage soft cover U.S. military manual titled FM 23-15 Department of the Army Field Manual, Browning Automatic Rifle Cal .3, M1918A2. It was prepared by Headquarters, Department of the Army, U.S.A. War Office, and published in May, 1961 by the United States Government Printing Office, in Washington, D.C. It is 244 pages in length and measures about 5.8 inches wide, 9.1 inches long and 0.4 inches thick. The manual provides detailed information about use of the Browning automatic rifle. The contents include mechanics and care, mechanical training and maintenance, and marksmanship training - known distance firing, moving ground and aerial targets and transition firing. Black and white illustrations and photo images accompany the text. 

Condition: It is in fair to good condition. There is moderate soiling with minor edgewear and red ink markings on the front of the cover. There is moderate soiling to the outside of the page ends.There is light tanning to some of the page borders. What looks like an old water stain is noted at the outside middle page edge of page 99 and continues on subsequent pages to the end of the book, becoming gradually larger in size. There is minor rippling to the pages at this stained area. The pages are otherwise clean. The pages are intact and unmarked by notations or highlighting.
