Make impactful  prints with this contact printing frame made with a beautiful warm toned Clear Cherry wood with oak pinned bridle joint corner construction. The pressure plate is made from half inch Baltic Birch void free ply and the negative side has a felt covering to protect the negative/paper sandwich. The frame and pressure plate is covered in 3 coats of clear satin polyurethane. It is a very robust handcrafted  frame and should last a lifetime of printing. This is a heavy duty frame not to be confused with the cheap alternatives out there. Perfect for contact printing silver gelatin or any of the myriad of alternative photography processes like gum, cyanotype, van Dyke, platinum/palladium etc.
