Charming Reproduction antique green glass inkwell ink bottle.

Charming with subtle signs of being handmade. The hinged shiny lid is nickel plated brass, possibly silver plated in the fact it does tarnish over time.

Inkwells were used as you might imagine to store liquid ink to write with. Someone would dip their writing utensil in the ink before writing. Charming small size on this piece making for a attractive collectible display.
