A surprisingly difficult listing to prepare - these are BU - Brilliant Uncirculated Decimal 1/2p's - circulation strikes not from sets.
Apart from 1971 which were issued in rolls, none of the later dates seem to have been kept in quantity in mint condition. From 1982 onwards the Royal Mint issued years sets including the 1/2p, so BU coins are available, but try finding mint coins of the other years!!
We have been putting these to one side as we find them over many years - they are underappreciated and we think still good value for money.
All dates 1971-1981 state NEW PENCE, 1982 & 1983 state HALF PENCE. All have Machin Head of Elizabeth II.
Uncirculated coins circulation strikes not from sets.
Full lustre. Bag marks and minor imperfections to be expected.
