From the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for an antique hob that shows the design of a decorative scabbard mount for a fraternal sword scabbard. The hob is fastened to a steel block with maximum dimensions 2 ⅝” x 6 ¾” x 1 ¼” high. The hob weighs 5 lb 8 oz and the condition is VG with an edge crack that does not impact the design, and what may be a tiny chip (or as made?) in the crown at the top.
