The noteworthy cars of this year are the high-performance 6.9 that takes its roots from the famous 600 limousine.  It features a 250 horsepower V8 engine. 

The 450SLC was a limited production Coupe.

The 450SL was the Roadster version with Coupe Hardtop and Soft top Convertible combination.
