DM-047 Japanese AFV's WW2. This sheet is designed to allow the modeler to mark AFV's form 9 of Imperial Japan's tank regiments during WW2. Each regiment's location, marking schemes, camouflage patterns and other markings are included and noted in the instructions. Please note, that the black printed areas on the right side of the picture will actually print as white. It has been changed to show contrast.
Tips for use
- These
are laser-printed decals. As such, the
colors will look more “muted” than silk-screen printed decals, especially the
white due the thinness of the ink application.
- Use
a gloss coat under the decal to prevent silvering.
- Be
sure to cut closely to the edge of the edge of the image you wish to use as
these are not spot printed, but continuous sheets of decal film.
- These
are two stage decals! For colored decals
(other than black), place white undercoat where you want the final design to be
first, let it dry and then add the color layer.
- I
have used Solvaset and Mr. Mark Softener without problems, however, other decal
solvents may prove more detrimental to the decals.
- Seal
with another gloss coat to protect the finished image.
Please note that gray areas actually print as white and are depicted to show contrast.
